Spend a day at the Fisheries and Maritime Museum in Esbjerg. There is lots to experience and
even more to look at
An ocean of stories
The Fisheries and Maritime Museum, Esbjerg, is Denmark's museum about the sea - people's relationship with it, the culture surrounding it, and life beneath its surface.
A completely new feature this year is our large offshore exhibition, which gives you a fantastic glimpse of everything from oil and
gas extraction to what life is like on an oil rig.
Remember your Be Happy Pass and become a driller for a day and save 15% in the café MS Smag
Present your Be Happy Pass when paying entrance, then you will receive a drilling exercise book that tells you about how it is to work on a giant oil rig in the North Sea. When you have completed the task you will get a price showing that you are a real driller.
The seals are our permanent residents. Come to one of the daily feeding sessions at 11.00 and 14.30
where you can observe Denmark’s largest sea mammal at very close quarters.
An Incredible Danish Fishing Venture

We can additionally offer you all the year round: environments from Esbjerg Harbour, bunker from the Second World War, wooden
